A repair crew used a boom extension of about 100 feet to assist them in making repairs to the Sacred Heart Church steeple. Stained glass windows will also be renovated to prevent future deterioration. Photo by Gale Kaas

During construction of Sacred Heart Church in 1908, this photo shows two workmen with Albert Schultz, at right, who was the father of Clarence and Floyd Schultz, local residents. The inscription on the photo stated, "Catholic Church being built." In comparison to the height of the men, the cross must be approximately 10-12 feet tall. The overall height of the steeple is 130.5 feet. Submitted photo
