Historical river walk in Frazee being considered


Frazee’s Park and Recreation Committee revived discussion about a historical river walk along the banks of the Otter Tail River. The city beach bath house may be demolished and a new one built. Frazee’s Park and Recreation Committee discussed renovating the area at a recent meeting.

Tamarac book signing event draws a crowd


Rural Frazee resident and author Georgia Nagel (right) and illustrator Kris Carr (middle) signed many books during an event at Tamarac Wildlife National Refuge on Sunday, including one for Eleanor Auna, an 8-year-old from St. Paul who was visiting a family lake cabin near the refuge. Auna looked forward to reading “Maurice the Goat Finds His Real Family.” In addition to meeting the author and illustrator of a new children’s book, visitors at the refuge were able to join in crafts and play with puppets.
