MMCDC eyes property, private buyer to demolished eyesore


A dilapidated house on the corner of 6th Street Northwest and Main Avenue is in the process of being sold with the new owner expected to demolish the structure, which is located a block from the newly built paved pedestrian path.
In late May the Frazee Economic Development Authority (EDA) learned a Detroit Lakes non-profit was interested in purchasing properties, demolishing the houses and building single family residences on the lot.

Dino dressed like zebra, seeks votes


The dinosaur at All In All convenience store in Frazee was decorated for a Halloween contest.
Overnight the All In All convenience store dinosaur grew stripes. The mascot went from all green to zebra striped, and had many locals wondering if a creative vandal was on the loose.

With thousands of events internationally, the world has many bull riders. Only the top 15 in the world are invited to compete in the National Finals Rodeo Dec. 3-13 in Las Vegas.

The DNR returned 23 live turtles were returned to the wild and confiscated 243 turtle shells as well as two five-gallon buckets of turtle parts during the investigation into the sale of turtle meat and tullibee.

Ouart grateful for invite to join WDAY Honor Flight

Rusty Ouart surprised his father Roy at the Fargo Airport before departing on the Honor Flight hosted by WDAY. Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist was on hand to escort veterans to the charter plane.
Frazee resident Roy Ouart wanted to pass on the opportunity to hobnob with news personalities and partake in an all-expense paid trip to the nation’s capitol. His wife Donna put the kibosh on that idea and sent him packing.
