New owners of Curley’s bring back bingo, add to menu


Mark Porter purchased Curley’s on Cotton Lake along with Paul Okeson (not pictured). One of the more noticeable additions when a customer comes in are the two large TVs at the bar area.
Bingo is back at Curley’s every Tuesday night starting at 6 p.m. 
 
New owners Mark Porter and Paul Okeson brought back the favorite pastime along with the chance to win big bucks, up to $1,000 of them.

Vergas supermarket to have 42nd year celebration this Saturday


Theresa Harthun stood behind the meat counter noting many regulars may recall that was her father’s favorite pose when chatting with customers.
After 42 years offering products that families use to put dinner on the table, Goodman’s SuperMarket wants to give thanks by hosting a customer appreciation party Saturday, Sept. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
