School committee asks, renovate or raze old admin building?


The school district currently rents a detached building in the high school parking lot to the city library and a thrift store. Discussions are being had in regards to renovating or demolishing the building after the furnace broke.
The Frazee-Vergas Schools Budget and Facilities Committee met to discuss the fate of the old administrative building that is currently being used as a rental.

Wind storm leaves a mark on the area


The fence along the vacant lot on West Main Avenue was uprooted from its mountings during last week’s wind storm. A light pole stopped further destruction to that section, but other parts of the fence were completely turn off.
A two-day wind storm with gusts reaching up to 51 mph struck the Frazee area last week and left a mark for many residents in the area.

Frazee residents asked to help create bus schedule Tuesday


The Becker County Transit schedule for Frazee will be developed after a public open house March 21, where residents will be encouraged to decide route times.
What the daily bus schedule in Frazee will look like is up to the residents who attend the open house Tuesday, March 21 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Frazee Fire Hall.

Two homes near completion in city of Frazee partnership with MMCDC


AAA Construction of Detroit Lakes began working on the two MMCDC homes at the end of October which are nearing completion.
Two newly-built houses are now on the market in Frazee thanks to a partnership between the city and Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corporation.
