In just three short months, the positive support for Detroit Mountain has become clear. Supporters from the local community and beyond have donated $750,000 of the $1 million goal during the public fundraising campaign.
Rural Frazee resident Rob Vigesaa, son of Fergus Falls resident Rob Vigesaa Sr. and Detroit Lakes resident Marlys Vigesaa, was injured in a motorcycle accident this past June. A benefit is set for Oct. 19 at Shorewood Pub.

A durable member of the Daggett Truck Line fleet from 50 years ago is still in shape for parades and other events. Daggett's 220-horsepower trucks in the 1950s and 1960s pulled about 80 livestock trailers throughout the Midwest and Canada.
