Rural Frazee resident Rob Vigesaa, son of Fergus Falls resident Rob Vigesaa Sr. and Detroit Lakes resident Marlys Vigesaa, was injured in a motorcycle accident this past June. A benefit is set for Oct. 19 at Shorewood Pub.
With a bright June sun in the sky, Rob Vigesaa hopped on his Harley and headed toward Detroit Lakes from his rural Frazee home.
A durable member of the Daggett Truck Line fleet from 50 years ago is still in shape for parades and other events. President Fred Daggett stands by a 1963 International that had half the horsepower of current workhorses. Daggett's 220-horsepower trucks in the 1950s and 1960s pulled about 80 livestock trailers throughout the Midwest and Canada. The Hereford representation on the wall was also duplicated in the logos on the rigs' doors. Photo by John W. Dermody
Trucking is a large industry. Frazee has a multitude of persons employed as drivers, not just working locally but with firms around the region.
