Robert Cummings is trying to take the mystery out of painting.

As a child, Mary held a birthday cake with what her mother called a common mischievous look. The family has only a few black and white photographs of her.
Scanning missing persons sites was a daily ritual for more than two decades for the Andersen family of Frazee.
