We really have come a long way


Cally and husband Darby Nundahl live in rural Frazee and have six children. Cally enjoys spending time with family and friends, quilting, writing, painting, the outdoors and the country life. She is a writer, photographer, typesetter and proofreader for the Frazee-Vergas Forum.
Remember the old Virginia Slims cigarette slogan “You’ve come a long way baby” from 1968? How about the song “We’ve Come a Long Way Baby” by Loretta Lynn recorded in 1976?

Daneele and her husband Jay Shipman live in rural Frazee with their children Carter and Cassidy. Daneele is originally from the Chicago area, but has lived in Frazee for over 20 years. Daneele enjoys reading, quilting, knitting and gardening. She is a freelance writer for the Frazee-Vergas Forum and a Frazee Area Community Club director.

Over the past few months as a dance mom traveling with the Frazee Fly Girls, I have witnessed the incredible bond between the dancers and between the coaches and their dancers. Also I feel closer to the whole dance family.
