                “Captain Phillips” is a movie that gets progressively better. It starts out almost painfully bad and it builds to perhaps the best ending scene of the year.

Gale Force Winds: Still plenty of time to enjoy the fall bite


Two nice largemouth bass caught from shore Sunday on a rubber mouse lure.
Last weekend I could see the end of the lake season coming fast.
 
The boat hit the trailer for home despite my protests and the dock was pulled to shore.
