Gale Force Winds: What a wonderful summer

This nice 21" bass was caught in the beginning of the blue moon Tuesday night. It was released.
Well, summer may have started slow, but I got to say it’s been a wonderful season.
 
This week’s super warm weather makes one just glad to have so much water around.

Laurie and her husband, Dean, live in Frazee with their dog, Reba. Laurie’s passions are family time, ministry and music. She is a Synodically Authorized Minister serving Waters of Grace Lutheran and the community of Frazee, an accomplished pianist, and also loves to dabble with acoustic guitar. Other hobbies include writing, gardening, cooking, canning, and anything that brings her outdoors in and among God’s beautiful creation.

How many times have you heard recently: “Where has the summer gone?”
 
Lots of people have been saying it. Frazee students, of course, are looking at the start of classes on Sept. 3.

History of Frazee – May 1897-July 1897: space ships in Frazee?


Albert (Ike) Fischer was born June 12, 1921, in Frazee where he grew up and attended school. After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II he returned to the family farm near Frazee. He married Larene Haas. Their daughter Lori and son-in-law Don Thorp, Frazee, have two sons, Martin and Roger, and now live on the family farm while Ike and Larene reside in town.
5-1-1897. The Air Ship – It was observed at Frazee by a number of reputable citizens and several young ladies.

Cally’s Corner: I can’t be in two places at once

If there ever was a weekend where I needed two of me – it was this past weekend.
 
Looney Daze in Vergas and the Becker County Fair in Detroit Lakes were held on the same weekend.
