Helmers heads to PPK playoffs


Vincent Helmers will compete in the Punt, Pass and Kick playoffs Nov. 19 at the Minnesota Viking training facility.
Vincent Helmers was selected by the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick officials to attend a competition hosted by the Minnesota Vikings Nov. 19-20 at Vikings Winter Park training facility in Eden Prairie.

Morgan places 34th of 175 at state


Frazee High School junior Ellie Morgan placed 34th at the state Class A cross country meet.
Ellie Morgan returned from the Class A state cross country meet at St. Olaf College in Northfield Nov. 5 with a 34th placing with a time of 20:04.6 which put her in the top 20 percent.
