Wrestlers take second at Brainerd


Frazee’s Gabe Drewes finished in first place for the Brainerd high school wrestling tournament held over the weekend. The 195-lb. Hornet (pictured) was joined in earning top honors with 220-lb. wrestler Luke Tweeton. The Frazee High School team finished in second place overall for the Paul Bunyon event.

Aho, Schermerhorn make history


Frazee High School wrestling coaches Dennis Schermerhorn (left) and Marty Aho will be inducted into the Min-nesota Wrestling Hall of Fame during a May ceremony. The two wrestled together for Frazee in the 1970s and have nearly eight decades of service to the program as coaches.
