Hornets upset Trojans, fall to Wolverines in sub sections


The fifth seeded Frazee volleyball team picked up a pair of sub section victories over 12th seeded Hillcrest 3-0 and fourth seeded Barnesville 3-1 last week, before falling to top seeded Wadena-Deer Creek 3-1 on Friday night. The Hornets end their season with a record of 13-12 overall. Complete game stats were not available at the time of press. Hornets fall to Cowgirls in conference action


Frazee fell to Breckenridge in its lone contest of the week last week by a score of 3-0. This week the Hornets traveled to Lake Park-Audubon and will kick off the playoffs next week. Currently the Hornets are in fifth place in the sub section with a QRF of 71.4. New York Mills is in fourth place with a QRF of 96.7 and Sebeka is in sixth place with a QRF of 68.8.
