Tweeton, Graham place at state wrestling tournament


Frazee High School junior Luke Tweeton celebrates with his hand in the air after he secured a 4-2 decision over Nick McCabe of Caledonia-Houston in the quarter-finals on Friday. Tweeton went on to place second at 220 lbs. when he lost a close 3-2 decision to Dominik Vacura of Badger-Greenbush-Middle River in the championship. In addition to Tweeton, 170 lbs. junior Brett Graham placed fourth at the state tournament.

Eight wrestlers head to state


Eight Frazee High School wrestlers are headed to the Minnesota State High School League Individual’s Tournament to be held in St. Paul this weekend. The wrestlers had to finish first or second in their respective weight classes to earn a state appearance. Frazee wrestlers going to state competition are (from left): Kaden Hiemenz, Tony Malikowski, Luke Tweeton, Christian Carlson, Gabe Drewes, Jake Nagel, Brett Graham and Coleton Borah.
