Bicycle Skills 101 Course will be held Friday, Aug. 23 from 5-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 24 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Frazee Elementary.

The course gives cyclists the confidence needed to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. It covers bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques and includes a student manual. Recommended for adults and children above age 16, this fast-paced course prepares cyclists for a full understanding of vehicular cycling. Traffic Skills 101 is a nine-hour course and is a prerequisite to becoming a League Cycling Instructor (LCI). Friday dinner and Saturday lunch provided, thanks to sponsor PartnerSHIP 4 Health.

Helmets and bikes are required both days. Dress appropriately for the weather. Participants do not have to be Frazee residents – it is free and open to everyone. Space is limited space so must register to attend. Register at: http://frazeebikeclass.eventbrite.com. Info: Kayla Rossiter, 218-739-2239 ext. 117 or e-mail, Kayla@wcif.org.
