EOT County Fair set July 20-23

The East Otter Tail County Fair invites the public to enjoy the fair festivities including yummy food, exhibits, music, entertainment, games and loads of fun Thursday through Sunday, July 20-23 at the Perham Fairgrounds.
The celebration will kick off Thursday, July 20 with many 4-H events going on throughout the day including a scarecrow and rooster crowing contest from 9-11 a.m. along with many animal shows all day.
The carnival opens at 5 p.m. and Thursday is armband day from 6-10 p.m. only. Armbands are $18 in advance or $20 at the fair.
At 8 p.m. head over to the stage in the park for the Blue English Band from 8-11 p.m. to listen to some entertaining music near the beer garden.
Daily events will carry on throughout the fair including the exhibit building open from 11 a.m. till 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday & Saturday, and open Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The children's petting barn will be open every day from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. except the last day it will close at 6. The carnival will open Thursday at 5 p.m. till close, Saturday from noon to close and Friday & Sunday from 1 p.m. to close. Preseason tickets are on sale until noon Thursday for 10 tickets for $17 and during the fair the price is 20 tickets for $40 or one ticket for $2.50.
Friday, July 21 is Senior Citizen's Day with events for seniors starting at noon with music by Jerry & Edith Fiegel. Bingo is from 2-4 p.m. and again at 7. Everyone is welcome to watch the comedy and magic act from David Harris from 3:15-5 p.m. in the park and the Strolling Magic show at 3:15 and again at 4 p.m.
Friday at 7 p.m. the modified tractor pull (NTPA) will be held in the grandstands. Tickets are $10 for ages 13 and up, $5 for ages 6-12 and 5 and under are free. Music with the Blue English Band will be starting at 9 p.m. to midnight in the park/beer garden.
Saturday, July 22 is Kid's Day at the Fair. Various 4-H events will be going on all day. The Budweiser Clydesdales will be at the fair at 1:30 p.m. followed by two magic shows starting at 3:15. The state-sanctioned kids pedal tractor pull will be at 5 p.m. by the park on the pavement.
Following the kid’s tractor pull the Demo Derby will be held at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for ages 13 and up, $5 for ages 6-12 and 5 and under are free. Bingo starts at 7 p.m.
Saturday evening from 8:30 p.m. till midnight there will be music with the Switch Band in the park.
Sunday, July 23 starts with a pancake breakfast in the park from 8 a.m. to noon for a freewill offering. The horse show for training begins at the horse arena at 8 a.m. with horse games to follow.
Worship service with Northwoods Harvest Barn Cowboy Church will take place at 10 a.m. in the park.
At 1 p.m. the tractor pull for antique and improved antique tractors will be held in the grandstands. Tickets are $5 for ages 13 and up, $3 for ages 6-12 and 5 and under are free.
Due to health and safety issues pets are not allowed at the county fair. No checks, an ATM is available on the grounds. Free gate admission to the general fair, on-the-grounds parking is $2 a day.
