Pet vaccination clinics set in Vergas May 9, Wolf Lake May 11

Lakeland Veterinary Clinic of Perham will be holding vaccination clinics Thursday, May 9 in Vergas from 4-6:30 p.m. at the fire hall and Saturday, May 11 in Wolf Lake at the fire hall from 1:30-3 p.m.

 Watch for signs of Lyme Disease including lameness, stiffness, swelling of limbs & joints, fever, loss of appetite and depression; it can lead to death. Great savings of four doses for $48 to keep ticks off pets. At the clinics the pets will be vaccinated for rabies, distemper, lyme (deertick) and kennel cough; there will be no examinations.

 The MN Dept. of Health advises optimal care for pets and people this summer. Stop at the vaccination clinics or at Lakeland Veterinary Clinic, 44344 Cty. Hwy. 8, Perham Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8-11 a.m. Info: Dr. Rose, DVM, 346-6550.
