Little turkey’s new digs OK’d by council

The design of Little Turkey Park on the corner of Main Avenue and Lake Street was recently reviewed by the city council.
The Little Turkey Park makeover plans reveal a clean-cut street corner, encouraging photo opportunities and socializing.
 
The design was revealed at the monthly Frazee City Council meeting Monday, June 8.

The Frazee Post Office is footing the bill at its rented building on Main Avenue to seal asbestos tile in the building and place new tile over it.

The Frazee-Vergas Forum's sidewalk was replaced Tuesday.
About 500 feet of sidewalk in the city of Frazee is being replaced. 
 
The sidewalk project tackles the walks that have heaved, broken apart and in some locations sunk into the earth.

Seek Rib Fest cooks, big cash prize offered

The Frazee-Vergas VFW is hosting its first annual Rib Fest Saturday, June 20 on Main Avenue in Frazee. The winner of the rib cook-off takes home all entry fees. Registration can be submitted to the VFW, which is located at 120 West Main Avenue, or by calling Larry Quade 841-5881. Barbie Porter art
Grill masters are needed for the inaugural rib fest in Frazee Saturday, June 20 and a big cash prize is offered to the winner.

Bergman’s honored with grand marshal title

The grand marshals for Frazee Turkey Days have been named. The event committee reviewed letters of recommendation from the public and named Eldon and Vi Bergman for the honor.
