90 riders endure over many miles of Frazee trails


Northern Lights Dance Academy dancers entertained for the Thistle Down Run participants Saturday evening at the Scott & Lisa Piche farm. Beau Hanson has ‘great experience’ at U.S. Amateur

Most golfers would think shooting a 78 one day on a difficult course, along with a subsequent 73, would be pretty good.

The area’s senior diamond team, comprised of baseball maniacs from around the Perham-Frazee area, fell short of what the Silver Pirates had hoped to achieve – a third consecutive state championship.

Earning a position as a state tournament entrant is no small accomplishment, although the Frazee Babe Ruth baseball team surely hoped for a little more success at East Grand Forks last weekend.

The second annual Myrel Schermerhorn Beast Mode Challenge had tougher competition,  more participants and more scholarship donors.

Regional baseball playoffs were held over the weekend and in Region 16C Fergus Falls advanced to qualify for the Minnesota Class C State Tournament with wins over Brandon-Evansville and Midway.

Frazee Babe Ruth team earns ticket to state tourney


The Frazee Babe Ruth Baseball team for ages 13-15 has earned its way to state. This is the first Babe Ruth team to make it to state from Frazee.
