Old rivals join forces

The Frazee Flames and Vergas Loons announced the two baseball clubs are combining for the season. The team was renamed the Frazee-Vergas Loons. All games will be played at the Vergas ballpark, except the alumni game during Turkey Days.

Softball kick starts opening week with six games, home tournament

The Hornet softball team spent the first six weeks of its season practicing indoors. The team watched the first two weeks of games either get canceled or rescheduled due to weather, but finally the big day arrived Monday, April 23.
