Hornet baseball team just 3 wins away from state

Greg Wokasch was named the 2014 baseball Hornet supporter. He has been the president of the baseball booster club the past few years and led trenching and installation of water and power efforts at the varsity field two years ago at no cost to the school. Submitted photo

The Hornet Baseball won 2 games Tuesday, June 3. The Frazee team beat Clinton Graceville Beardsly 10-6 and Nevis 5-4.  The Hornets play Breck Thursday, June 5 at noon.

"We are 3 wins away from State, Coach Andy Mekalson said.

Megan Danielson is the Frazee High School record holder in the 3,200 meter run.
 
The seventh grader set the record at a recent home meet when she finished the 2-mile course in 12 minutes and 14 seconds.
