After the tragic passing of April Stenger, 26, daughter of Tim and Sue Stenger, those who loved her most ensured her spirit will continue to be a magnet for children by installing a playground in her honor at the Early Explorers Daycare Center in Moorhead where she worked. April was a 2007 Frazee graduate who earned an Early Childhood Education degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead. With the help of donations the new playground dubbed “Sunshine Playground” was installed. In addition to the equipment at the daycare, donations also went toward purchasing playground equipment for the Hawley Public School, where April’s sister Tami has children enrolled.
