Teams prepare for section meet set for Friday in Bagley

The Frazee cross country teams took 10th place at the Bemidji Invitational last Monday night.

The boys team was paced by Nathan  Johannsen, who took ninth place individually with a time of 17:40. He finished just behind Carson Maish of Bemidji who took eighth place with a time of 17:38, and just ahead of Ashton Niemi of Bemjdji who took 10th place with a time of 17:41. 

Cael Pausch took 58th place with a time of 20:27, Jonah Sharp took 71st place with a time of 21:22, Brady Borah took 74th place with a time of 21:24 and Alexx Helmers took 87th place with a time of 22:16 to round out the boys team score. 

On the girls side of the meet Braylee Riewer paced the Hornets as she took 42nd place with a time of with a time of 23:18. Alexis Mack took 53rd place with a time of 24:35. 

Alexis Mack took 53rd place with a time of 24:35, eighth grader Taylor Perrine took 56th place with a time of 24:52, Bailey Larson took 61st place with a time of 25:10 and Claire Pausch took 73rd place with a time of 26:30. 

As a team the boys finished in 10th place with a total score of 278, which was just behind Ada-Borup who finished in ninth place with a score of 271. Perham won the meet with a score of 59, while Bemidji took second with a score of 68. 

The girls team also took 10th place with a score of 259. They trailed Warroad, who took ninth place with a score of 245 and Moorhead, who won the meet with 62 points and Perham who took second with 66 points.
