Dr. Elizabeth Westhoff, a family medicine physician and hospitalist, is excited to welcome new patients at the Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Detroit Lakes Clinic.

“I chose to join Essentia Health because of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere I experienced every time I came in contact with this organization,” Westhoff said.

Westhoff received her medical degree at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, S.D. and completed her residency in family medicine at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Wisc.

“I pursued family medicine because I enjoy getting to know patients and their families,” she said. “I also love the variety of concerns I can see in a day.”
