Santa is making his list and checking it twice, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to convince the man in red that you have been good this year. Santa Claus is coming to Frazee as part of a busy day of activities on Saturday and he will be taking Christmas wish lists from people young and old.

A Merry Frazee Christmas and the Snow Plow Parade will feature everything from breakfast with Santa to the annual Snow Plow Parade on Saturday.

The day will kick off with breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m., before the Christmas book giveaway gets underway at 9 a.m.

Children will have a chance to get in touch with the artistic side at 10 a.m. with Christmas arts and crafts, while the DIY holiday photos and a holiday vendor show will also get underway at the event center.

The reindeer cupcake walk, hosted by the Frazee royalty, will get underway at 12 p.m. The event will last until the last cupcake is given away. After all of the cupcakes and goodies from the morning, area residents will have a chance to get some exercise in with Snowga, yoga in the snow, in the open lot by United Community Bank at 4:15 p.m.

Horse drawn trolley rides will begin at 4:15 p.m. in front of the Chic Shed and go until 6:15 p.m.

The highlight of the day will get underway at 6:15 p.m. when the annual Snow Plow Parade will begin at Daggett Trucking and roll through the heart of Frazee.

Santa Claus will return to town and visit with area children from 5-7 p.m. at the VFW, while the night will come to a close with live music from Damian Anderson from 5-7 p.m. and karaoke from 8 p.m, to 12 a.m.

There will be a number of specials at local businesses throughout the day. For more information about their sales, check out page 3.
