Michelle Daggett

Lakeshirts’ President Michelle Daggett has been named to the Twin Cities Business Magazine’s 2021 Notable Women in Manufacturing list. Daggett joins the ranks of 13 other exemplary leaders in a traditionally male-dominated field.

Daggett has been part of the Lakeshirts team for nearly 25 years, and has held a variety of senior leadership positions, including leadership of Human Resources and Operations. She has been in her current role since 2016.

“I am very honored to be featured among these other leaders, and am thankful for our entire team, our army of problem solvers for their engagement and contributions for making Lakeshirts a great place to work. I feel fortunate to work with such a great team and look forward to what 2022 has in store for our business,” shared Daggett.

Included among Daggett’s recent professional achievements are collaborating with Lakeshirts’ owners to bring in an investor in 2019, completing multiple strategic acquisitions, guiding the organization through Covid, supply chain, and labor challenges, and cultivating a unique business culture which has been a critical aspect of the company’s lasting success.

Prior to joining Lakeshirts, Michelle worked as a Consultant for Hewitt Associates in Lincolnshire, Ill. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., receiving a degree in business and organizational communications.

“Michelle has been the epitome of servant leadership and has been a driving force in our efficiency gains, creative labor market development and culture enhancement,” shared Lakeshirts Co-Founder and CEO, Mark Fritz. “From managing the myriad challenges of a high-growth company booking record sales in 2020 to pivoting, literally within a week or two, to guiding our company through a pandemic, Michelle’s adaptive leadership has proved critical for our company. We view our culture, our performance and our company to be one of the best there is and Michelle is a significant reason why.”
