Frazee improved to 3-9 last week with a commanding win over Ashby and a narrow loss to Wadena-Deer Creek.
Monday’s win against the Arrows was the second straight win for the Hornets after they defeated Bagley by a score of 34-26 on Jan. 7.
This week the Hornets will travel to Battle Lake on Tuesday night, before hosting Pelican Rapids on Thursday night in a Heart ‘O Lakes Conference match up. Next week the Hornets will host Perham on Jan. 25 and Hawley on Jan. 27.

A fevered second half come back came up just short as the Frazee Hornets fell to Park Rapids by a score of 48-41 on Jan. 4.
Frazee trailed by a margin of 35-17, but put together a tremendous second half to outscore the Panthers by a 24-13 margin in the final 18 minutes of action. Unfortunately, seven Panther 3-pointers and 23 Hornet turnovers proved to be the difference in an otherwise close non-conference game.
The Hornets outshot the Panthers by a margin of 32 percent to 30.6 percent front he field and held advantages in points off of turnovers, second chance points, points in the paint and outrebounded Park Rapids by a 45-30 margin.
Jayden Sonenberg had a big game for the Hornets as the post player finished with 15 points down low, while Annika Reierson chipped in with 8 points.
Hailey Selly and Madison Olson each scored 5 points, while Riyan Eckert scored 4 points and Kate Vigen and Kaidence Mayfield rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

Breckenridge led early and never looked back as the Cowgirls defeated the Hornets by a score of 56-37 on Jan. 6. The Hornets trailed 29-18 at halftime, but were able to stick with the Cowgirls throughout the game thanks to hitting five 3-pointers and making 10-14 shots from the free throw line.
Unfortunately, Breckenridge went 20-27 from the free throw line and forced 30 Frazee turnovers to come away with the HOL win. A highlight for the Hornets was their play on the defensive end of the court as they had 19 deflections and had 15 offensive rebounds, which led to 7 second chance points.
Riyan Eckert led the way for the Hornets as she had 10 points, while Kaidence Mayfield finished with 8 points. Annika Reierson hit a pair of 3-pointers to finish with 7 points, while Kate Vigen and Jayden Sonnenberg finished with 4 points apiece. Madison Olson finished with 3 points and Kailey Selly rounded out the scoring with 1 point.
