Frazee receives second seed in Section 8A

The Frazee Hornets will open their Section 8A tournament this week against seventh seeded Barnesville. The winner of the match up will advance to the section final four, which is set for Friday at Fertile-Beltrami against either third seeded Crookston or sixth seeded Mahnomen/Waubun at 6 p.m.
The section championship will take place on Friday night at Fertile-Beltrami at 7:30 p.m.
On the other side of the bracket, top seeded United North Central will take on eighth seeded Fertile-Beltrami in the opening round, while fourth seeded Badger-Greenbush-Middle River will take on fifth seeded Fosston-Bagley.
The Hornets, who finished the regular season with a record of 9-8, received the second seed in the section tournament.
