Sub section set for June 1 at Headwaters Golf Course

The Frazee girls golf team competed in a pair 9-hole meets last Monday. 

The Hornets opened the day with a meet at the Moorhead Country Club. Alexis Mack led the way with a score of 51, while Emma Wiseman finished with a 52, Madeline Matejka finished the day with a 57 and Gracie Fales finished with a 64. Also competing for the Hornets was Krysten Halverson with a 66 and McKenzie Wake with a 70.

Later in the day, the Hornets competed at Willow Creek in Barnesville. Mack once again led the way with a 48, while Halverson scored a 50, Fales finished with a 56, Wake and Wiseman each finished with a 57 and Matejka finished with a 70.

On Thursday, the Hornets competed at the Bois de Sioux Golf Course near Breckenridge.

Mack continued her strong week as she led the way with a 48. Wiseman was right on her heels with a score of 50, while Halverson finished with a 54, Wake finished with a 56, Matejka finished with a 57 and Fales rounded out the week with a 64.

This week the Hornets will host their home meet on Monday, before traveling to Wild Flower in Detroit Lakes on Tuesday. 

Next week the Hornets will get ready for the sub section golf meet set for Headwaters County Club near Park Rapids on Wednesday, June 1.
