The food options in Frazee have increased yet again. The Third Crossing Bar recently rolled out a menu and will serve food from opening to closing, covering lunch and dinner. All ages are now welcome to enjoy items from a full menu that includes appetizers, baskets, sandwiches, wraps, burgers and a kid’s menu. The introduction of food to the establishment comes on the heels of a remodeling project that included a full paint job, new chairs, installing two projection televisions that changed the motif of the bar to a more family-friendly look.

Frazee City Councilman Mike Sharp and his wife Michelle donated almost $1,000 for playground and camping site improvements. The council accepted the donation with gratitude during its monthly meeting on Monday, July 10. Sharp said he was “very impressed” with upgrades done to the JoAnn Niemann Park, which included installing a concrete curb around the play area, removing mulch and replacing it with pea rock. Sharp said he and his wife hope the donation continues the trend of improvement to the city recreation and playground areas.

The compost site, located about one-half mile north of Frazee on CR 29, may have to be locked and/or manned if abuse of the system doesn’t stop shortly.
