0Friday, June 3
1:45 p.m. Complaint of loose dogs on Cherry Ave. Owner given a verbal warning.
2:20 p.m. Report of a rolling domestic. Female driver, Jolene Stewart, 40, Detroit Lakes cited for speeding.
6:13 p.m. Report of a male party trespassing on a property owned by he and his wife. Couple is separated. Civil issue as the house is in both of their names and the paperwork did not ban either from being at the property.
7:45 p.m. Stray dog found on W Main. Dog taken home to owner.
11:57 p.m. Noise complaint on Rivercrest Drive.
Sunday, June 5
9:11 p.m. Three properties given letters about their yards being in violation of the city ordinance. One couple told the officer that it was against their spirituality to cut the grass. Officer left shaking his head thinking, it’s ok to smoke grass but not to cut it?
Monday, June 6
1:36 p.m. Property damage to a garage door after some hoodlums rolled some tractor tires down a hill.
10:32 p.m. Noise complaint on Rivercrest Drive. Lillie Barnett, 50, Frazee cited for disorderly conduct.
Tuesday, June 7
10:03 a.m. Complaint of neighbor’s dog constantly barking.
5:35 p.m. Assist with a suicidal female at Acorn Lake Trailer Park.
8:19 p.m. Back at Acorn Lake Trailer Park for a similar call.
9:20 p.m. Assist with a medical.
11:26 p.m. Open garage door. Building seemed secure.
Wednesday, June 8
11:39 p.m. Assist with a disabled vehicle on US Hwy 10.
Thursday, June 9
9:03 a.m. Assist with a head on collision on St Hwy 34.
9:35 p.m. Complaint of teenagers on a minibike. Officer talked with dad and asked that they stop riding on the street.
10:40 p.m. Report of fireworks in town or close by. Officer did not find the culprits.
11:04 p.m. Group of kids walking downtown. Several 15 or under and given stern warning to boot scoot it home as they were in violation of curfew. Curfew is 9:30 for 15 and under and midnight for 16 and 17-year-old.
