Saturday, July 30
9:19 p.m. Assist with traffic control for the Turkey Trot.
11:41 p.m. Four vehicles in the way for Turkey Days events. Owners found and vehicles moved.
11:57 p.m. Assist with traffic control for the soap box derby.
11:29 p.m. Assist with a disorderly male at the street dance. Officer gave him a ride home to his cats.
2:18 p.m. Road barricades on N. Lake St. moved into the middle of the street most likely by Turkey Day revelers.
Sunday, July 31
10:06 p.m. Debit card found and turned into officer. Officer found card owner watching the parade and the card was returned.
2:57 p.m. Report of a disturbance on W. Ash Ave. Property was exchanged and female left the property.
5:21 p.m. Disorderly conduct at the demo derby. Demo driver and his car were escorted from pit area to their pickup and trailer.
9:21 p.m. Assist with a car versus deer crash on Co Hwy 29. Vehicle was drivable and officer followed to Detroit Lakes to make sure they made it home.
Monday, August 1
2:01 p.m. A mother reporting an adult male calling her teenage daughter. Under investigation.
6:52 p.m. Report of a male and female not getting along.Parties creating more drama than a daytime soap opera from the 80’s.
8:09 p.m. Party reporting getting an eviction notice the day rent is due. Wanted to talk to officer about his options.
9:24 p.m. Report of an overdose. Turns out male half of the soap opera was just looking for attention.
10:32 p.m. Business alarm, building is secure.
10:57 p.m. Assist with a suspicious vehicle near Rew Lane.
Tuesday, August 2
10:50 p.m. Female from the soap opera causing more drama, asking us to check on her kids.
12:44 p.m. Assist with a medical.
5:17 p.m. Assist with a motor vehicle crash on US Hwy 10. Crash turned out to be a hit and run with driver getting into another vehicle. Driver was located and arrested. Vehicle he was driving had plates that were no good and were requested to be seized by West Fargo PD. Van was missing from its owners but they were not aware until the incident in Becker County.
Wednesday, August 3
2:46 p.m. Welfare check requested on a tenant who hadn’t been seen for a couple days. A dog was in the house and not tended to. Dog was taken to the pound with potential charges of animal neglect pending.
4:05 p.m. Report of damage to a window at the high school. Unknown when the damage happened.
7:21 p.m. Civil matter involving a couple who sold their pickup to a male who has only paid for part of the agreed upon price.
9:39 p.m. Vehicle unlock involving our soap opera stars.
Thursday, August 4
8:13 p.m. Complaint that a flagger at the road construction was catcalling to a teenage female. Officer sent the information to the crew foreman who addressed the issue with the flaggers. Officer received a message from the crew foreman that there was another complaint so Mr. Creeper Flagger was sent packing.
5:47 p.m. Report of a possible court order violation. Harassment Restraining Order was not in effect between the two ladies anymore. Advised to seek a new HRO if need be.
7:44 p.m. Assist with a medical on 297th Ave.
