Friday, Aug. 12
8:58 p.m. Assist with a fire on St Hwy 87. Small shed was being burned, warning about burning rubbish.
10:39 p.m. Report of a domestic assault. Kimberly Benke, 31, Frazee, arrested for Misdemeanor Domestic Assault.
Saturday, Aug. 13
4:39 p.m. Officer helped out-of-state couple get through town to see the Looney Days.
9:31 p.m. Open door at the high school. Nothing out of the ordinary as officer walked the building.
1:00 a.m. Report of a wrong way driver on US Hwy 10. Unable to locate.
Sunday, Aug. 14
11:25 a.m. Report of a loose dog.
5:22 p.m. Assist with a small fire on Indy 500 Rd.
8:06 p.m. Caller reported that someone shot fireworks at his house at 2 a.m. this past morning. He does not have any suspects.
8:37 p.m. Report of a male making some teenage girls uncomfortable by the RR bridge. Officer talked with the girls and found that the male did not try to talk with them, they just thought he was creepy. No danger noted.
Monday, Aug. 15
8:42 a.m. Report from a local company that they had fired an employee. Employee had the weekend to get his vehicle off the property. Company was left with the decision to tow the vehicle or not.
11:14 a.m. Couple of dogs brought to the PD by some kids. Dogs were taken back home.
12:49 p.m. Report of a 911 hang-up. Officer went to the area and did not find anything out of the ordinary.
4:51 p.m. Report of fraudulent charges on a credit card. Female alerted to call the bank, she had not lost any money.
6:36 p.m. Assist with a domestic assault at Acorn Lake Trailer Park.
Tuesday, Aug. 16
7:50 p.m. Report of suspicious activity on E Main. Officer did not find anything suspicious, it may have been the male party seeing or hearing things.
Wednesday, Aug. 17
8:32 p.m. Noise complaint on Rivercrest Drive. Officer found a group of teenagers horseplaying and being teenagers. Officer talked with the kids and one adult present and they agreed to keep it down.
9:59 p.m. Warrant attempt on E Pine Ave. Female took off running.
Thursday, Aug. 18
5:07 p.m. Assist with trespassers on Co Rd 118.
6:04 p.m. Three calls today on the injured swan by the RR bridge. The swan is raising cygnets. Nature will decide its fate.
Friday, Aug. 19
10:34 a.m. Information from Otter Tail County that a male with a warrant may be living in Frazee. Unable to locate male.
9:42 p.m. Business alarm, all secure.
Saturday, Aug. 20
3:25 p.m. Assist with a traffic complaint that started in DL. Female with a warrant taken to the sheriff’s office to pay the bond and set up a new court date.
7:38 p.m. Report of a care center resident left. Officer was canceled, party showed up.
Sunday, Aug. 21
3:31 p.m. Vehicle parked in the roadway near S River Drive. Vehicle was pushed out of the way.
Monday, Aug. 22
9:08 a.m. Driving complaint on Co Hwy 29 north of town. Officer pulled over the vehicle and all was okay.
2:55 p.m. Prescription pills turned into officer to be destroyed.
7:13 p.m. Loose dog with a harness found on S Lake St. Dog was returned to its human.
Tuesday, Aug. 23
9:06 a.m. Report of theft of gas by same vehicle and driver. Vehicle was recently sold and the previous owner has been getting several calls about gas drive-offs. Important lesson is to remember to fill out the little slip on the vehicle title when selling. This will alert the state that you are no longer the owner of the vehicle.
7:28 p.m. Wandering female out for a walk. Husband called and he came and got her.
7:35 p.m. Citizen complaint about a neighbor’s property. Under investigation as to what laws or ordinances are being broken.
Wednesday, Aug. 24
4:40 p.m. Male party reporting getting scam calls. Officer suggested writing the scammer number on the bathroom stall under the caption, “Call for a good time.”
6:17 p.m. Officer requested to standby while female gathered belongings from her former residence. Officer hung around outside while they got their property. Officer was there to keep the peace, not help in getting the property back. Officer was chatting with guys from the construction crew while he waited. The ladies got their property with no issues.
9:35 p.m. Two teenage females left their house due to constant abuse. Officer found a safe place for them and human services was contacted.
Thursday, Aug. 25
3:29 p.m. Female out for a walk again. Was found prior to sending the search party.
9:01 p.m. Assist with a suicidal male in DL.
