Karen Pifher, chief executive officer of Creating Community Consulting and a director of Cornerstone in Frazee, has been nominated as a finalist for the Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce’s annual Splash Awards.

The Splash Awards were created in 2019 and are designed to celebrate the impact and involvement of Detroit Lakes community volunteers.

Pifher is nominated for the Accelerator Award. The award recognizes an individual who motivates their friends, colleagues, family and community to get involved.
