Tuesday, Oct. 11
12:31 p.m. Report from one of our cackling hens that the other one looked at her funny and had her dog with. Officer explained that even with a harassment restraining order, the parties may cross paths in a small town, let alone if they live in the same apartment building. Complaint that a dog was not muzzled. Funny thing is there has never been a requirement in 15 years for any dog to be muzzled. One of the cackling hens didn’t seem to like the officer’s answer so she went to the county to complain. A Sergeant at the county graciously told her that the Frazee Officer already handled the situation.
3:28 p.m. Traffic complaint on N River Drive. Unfounded.
7:56 p.m. Assist with a car vs deer crash on US Hwy 10. Officer had to put the animal down.
