Downtown Vergas was abuzz on Saturday for its annual Small Town Christmas celebration. The event coincided with Small Town Saturday and featured a petting zoo, horse drawn wagon rides, as well as a visit from Santa Claus. A Step Up Thift Boutique owner JoAnne Knutilla had a steady stream of customers during a timely Grand Opening celebration the same day as the Small Town Christmas event in Vergas Saturday, Nov. 26.
