Minnesota FFA plays active role in lives of local youth

As the new year officially kicks off this week, the Minnesota FFA Foundation continues the vital role of supporting the development of young people through Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (AFNR) programs and the FFA.

Minnesota FFA is experiencing unprecedented growth in the number of schools offering AFNR/FFA programs to their students.  Twenty new programs have been added in the past three years, bringing the number of Minnesota schools that offer AFNR/FFA programs to more than 210. The growth doesn’t stop there, as more than a dozen schools are working to add an AFNR/FFA program for the upcoming school year.

“To support this growth, we ask all those who have personally been involved with FFA, as well as those who see the benefit of FFA, join us in this important work, with a donation to the Minnesota FFA Foundation,” shares Val Aarsvold, executive director, Minnesota FFA Foundation.

Support provided to the Minnesota FFA Foundation is directed toward four main areas, which include Youth Leadership, Teacher Preparation, Scholarships, and the Minnesota FFA State Convention.
