Fly Girls secure HOL Conference title

The Frazee Fly Girls were named as the co-Heart O’ Lakes Conference champions after taking first place at the conference meet at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Friday night.
In addition to being named as the co-team champions, five Frazee Fly Girls were named to the all-conference team and two more were named as honorable mention.
Named to the HOL Conference all-conference team were: Marcella George, Hailey Selly, Lainey Jacobson, Grace Doll and Brea Paurus, while Alexis Heaton and McKenzie Blauert were named as honorable mention.
The first place finish comes on the heels of the Pelican Rapids meet on Saturday, Jan. 14 in which the Fly Girls captured first place in the jazz. The team also placed seventh in the high kick in Pelican Rapids.
This week the Fly Girls will compete in Hawley on Friday night with the first dance set to start at 6 p.m.
