Johannsens named to UWEC Dean’s List

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire extended congratulations to the 2,783 students named to the fall 2022 Dean’s List. Their academic performance has been outstanding, and UWEC recognizes these students with pride.

Both  Jaryn Johannsen, College of Arts and Sciences, and  Nathan Johannsen, College of Arts and Sciences earned the distinction.

To be eligible, a student must: be in good academic standing; have a minimum semester GPA of 3.70; have completed at least 12 credits during the semester, with no incompletes, no courses below the 100 level, no repeats, and no Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory registrations.

Swyter named to Dean’s List at UMN Crookston

  Michelle Swyter, of Frazee, was recently named to the University of Minnesota Crookston’s Fall 2022 Dean’s List which was recently released by the Office of the Registrar. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average. 

Swyter is majoring in Natural Resources B S.

Seim named to Dean’s List at Bismarck State

Scott Seim, a 2022 graduate of Frazee-Vergas High School, has earned the distinction of the President’s Honor Roll for fall semester with a 3.90 grade point average at Bismarck State College.

Students must have at least a 3.50 GPA and be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.

Seim was a four-year starter for Frazee head coach Andy Mekalson’s varsity baseball team and is a freshman pitcher for the Bismarck State College Mystics.

Seim is the son of Stacy and Dede Seim of Frazee.

NDSU announces Dean’s List

Several local students were among the 4,226 North Dakota State University students to be placed on the fall 2022 Dean’s List. 

A student must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 class credits to qualify for the Dean’s List.

Local students named to the list include: George E. Flynn, Frazee, Nursing; Harley Kropuenske, Frazee, Human Development and Family Sci.; Isabella M. Matejka, Frazee, Animal Science; Blake S. Skaaland, Frazee, Political Science;  Piper L. Thorson, Frazee, Architecture; Brayden E. Ecker, Vergas, Nursing and Kendra S. Ovsak, Vergas Interior Design.
