Non-credible zombie threat reported at the school

By Tyler Trieglaff

Notes from the Chief

Well, I should be caught up now. No more getting jumped at the gas station or ball game about no article in the paper. We did sell our calves the week before to the Bagley Sales Barn so we have less chores to do. We sold 22 steers and 26 heifers using two trailers to haul them up there. It was a much nicer drive compared to the year before when the roads were glare ice the whole way up there. We kept 10 heifers back as future replacements and a few other steers that we will fatten up or sell. Two steers made a trip to Wolf Lake to a friends place where they will fatten up for friends and family to have some beef for the freezer. I have a story to tell about that next week.

Just a little thought about Valentine’s Day if there is going to be romance in the air….February 14 plus 9 months equals November 14, right smack dab in the middle of hunting season.  Please plan accordingly. Have a nice week!!
