Vergas students named to UND Honor Roll

Kyra Bahls, Carlie Ecker and Mckenna O’Brien, of Vergas, were all named to the University of North Dakota President’s Honor Roll.

The President’s Honor Roll is the highest academic achievement for undergraduate students. To qualify, a student must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.80 or higher. The student must also have earned a minimum of 24 semester hours and have completed a minimum of 12 hours at the close of the semester, eight of which must be for traditional letter grades.

Ecker and O’Brien were named to both lists.

While the Dean’s List recognizes a student’s academic excellence in a given semester, the President’s Honor Roll recognizes sustained academic excellence across the student’s academic career.

The Dean’s List, published at the end of each spring and fall semester, contains the names of students who are ranked in the top 15 percent of their college. The student must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours at the close of the semester, eight of which must be for traditional letter grades. The minimum GPA needed to receive the award will vary from semester to semester.
