Frazee and Barnesville got the opportunity to play on the collegiate stage on Saturday as the Hornets and Trojans played a conference game at Concordia College in Moorhead. Frazee was able to nearly double their point total from Thursday night, but it still wasn’t enough as the Trojans edged the Hornets by a score of 73-46.

The Hornets shot 35 percent from the field and hit five 3-pointers, but ultimately 25 turnovers proved to be too much to overcome. After trailing by a score of 41-18 at halftime, Frazee was able to play right with the Trojans in the second half as Barnesville outscored the Hornets by just a 32-28 margin.

On the positive side the Frazee defense forced 22 Barnesville turnovers and forced 13 defensive deflections. The Trojans were able to hold a big advantage in the paint where they outscored the Hornets by a 46-18 margin.

Adam Vigen led the way offensively with 12 points, while Asher Blaine finished with 11 points. Carter Sonnenberg had a solid all-around night as he finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds.
