Notes from the Chief

Not much happening in the Frazee police world the last week. A couple of days with no school leads to less people in town which can lead to less issues, good or bad.

The city streets are looking very nice as the city crew is putting their time behind the steering wheels of their equipment.

Not much going on with the cows either as they are staying content growing the new crop of calves. The first calf heifers will be due around the end of March and the main herd the first week of April.

Hopefully, there will be a nice melt by then so we can get the girls to their calving pasture. We usually vaccinate this time of year against scours, but that vaccine is in short supply, even from the manufacturers. Hopefully the calving practices we have in place will negate the need for the extra vaccination.
