Hornets fall to Vikings 62-54 in Section 8AA opener

The Frazee Hornets had their season come to a close on Thursday night in the Section 8AA opener.
The 14th seeded Hornets fell to the third seeded Pelican Rapids Vikings by a score of 62-54. The loss was the closest game between the two teams this season as the Hornets also lost to the Vikings by a 46-25 and 48-30 margin in conference action.
The loss ends Frazee’s season with a record of 8-17 overall.
The Vikings would go on to lose in the next round to 11th seeded Wadena-Deer Creek by a score of 48-47, who have advanced to the section semi-finals against second seeded Thief River Falls. On the other side of the bracket, top seeded Perham will take on fifth seeded Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.
