Freshman right-handed pitcher Scott Seim of Frazee has picked up two victories during spring ball for the Bismarck State College Mystics baseball team.

Seim’s first victory of the season came in relief during a 19-2 victory over the Abbotsford (British Columbia) Cardinals in Tucson, Arizona on Monday, March 13. Seim pitched 1.2 innings, allowed one hit and recorded two strikeouts, in relief of starter Carson Zummel to pick up the victory.

Seim got his first start and second victory of the season in his second appearance for the Mystics throwing five innings of shutout ball, while allowing just one hit in a 6-2 victory over Anoka-Ramsey Community College Thursday, March 16. Seim did not walk a batter and fanned four.

Bismarck State has opened the season winning nine of its first 10 games in Tucson, including an 8-0 start to the year.
