Detroit Lakes Middle School English/Language Arts teacher Nicky Courneya, of Frazee, was named the school’s Teacher of the Year. Teachers were selected from a pool of nominated candidates at each of the six buildings in the Detroit Lakes school district. Courneya is pictured on the far right.
