HOL Conference meet set for Tuesday in Pelican Rapids

Hailey Selly took eighth place in the 100-meter dash during the Section 6A True Team meet in Pelican Rapids on Tuesday.

The Frazee track team jumped above the competition on Tuesday at the Section 6A True Team meet. 

The Hornets swept the girls hurdles events as Kaidence Mayfield took first place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.22, while Olivia Petron took fourth place with a time of 17.73. 

In the 300-meter hurdles, Hailey Selly took first place with a time of 48.75, while Mayfield took second place with a time of 49.71.

The Hornets continued to sky above the other teams when Brynn Larson took first place in the high jump with a jump of 5’2”, while Jayden Sonnenberg took sixth place in the event with a jump of 4’10”. Sonnenberg captured first place in the triple jump with a jump of 33’7 1/2”, while Mayfield took fourth place with a jump of 22’ 1/4”. 

Sonnenberg also took third place in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:02.87 and Larson took fifth place with a time of 1:03.87. 

Elsie Ratz captured fourth place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:28.17, Madi Perrine took fourth place in the 3200-meter run with a time of 12:46.80 and Autumn Hiemenz took fourth place in the pole vault with a vault of 7’.

On the boys side, Brady Crabtree skied above the crowd with a first place finish in the pole vault with a vault of 11’6”. 

Roy Hoehne took second place in the 400-meter run with a time of 53.58,
while Aldridge Aidan picked up a pair of top five finishes with a third place finish in the discus with a throw of 121’3 1/2” and a fifth place finish in the shot put with a throw of 39’6 1/4”.
