0Oswald named to University of Jamestown Dean’s List
Paige Oswald of Frazee has been named to the University of Jamestown’s Spring 2023 Dean’s List for maintaining a semester GPA of 3.50 or better.
Oswald, a junior, was a setter on UJ’s national championship volleyball team. The team made program history advancing to the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship match for the first time capturing the title in a 3-2 victory over Corban University last December.
Oswald was one of 349 students to earn the Dean’s List distinction, along with area students Talia Gabrielson of Perham, Alecia Akers of Pelican Rapids, Nicholas Johnson of Verndale, Faith Justesen of Hawley, Kamree Carlson of Park Rapids, Marc Kjos and Karlie Kawlewski of New York Mills.
University of Jamestown was established in 1883 in Jamestown, North Dakota, and is ranked as a top-tier regional school in US News and World Report and a top Midwestern school in The Princeton Review. M State announces Spring academic honors
Minnesota State Community and Technical College has named 498 students to its President’s List and 547 students to its Dean’s List for the 2023 Spring Semester.
Students on the President’s List earned a grade point average of 4.0 while completing a minimum of six college-level credits and 75 percent of the courses in which they enrolled for the semester.
Students on the Dean’s List earned a GPA of 3.50 to 3.99 while completing a minimum of six college-level credits and 75 percent of the courses in which they enrolled for the semester.

Kotaska, Sannes-Venhuizen earn SNHU honors
Cheryl Kotaska of Frazee has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Winter 2023 President’s List. The winter terms run from January to May.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
Tovin Sannes-Venhuizen of Frazee has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Winter 2023 Dean’s List.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
