The Vergas Loons dropped a pair of games to the New York Mills Millers on Sunday afternoon in Vergas.

The Loons dropped the opening game of the day by a score of 5-2 after they scored a pair of runs on an error and wild pitch. The 2 runs brought the Loons within striking distance, before the Millers scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning to come away with the win.

In the second game of the night, the Loons took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning when four straight batters were walked with two outs. Unfortunately, from that point on it was all Millers as they came away with a 10-1 win in seven innings

Individual stats and a team schedule for the Loons were not provided at the time of press.
