Accident occurred on Highway 10

Emergency crews respond to a crash involving four vehicles Friday morning at the intersection of County Road 60 and U.S. Highway 10 between Frazee and Perham.

Three people were injured in a two-car accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 10 and Otter Tail County Road 60 south of Frazee Friday, June 23.

A 2005 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Austin Emil Huhta, 18, of Menahga, was traveling westbound on County Road 60 and collided with a 1999 Buick Century driven by Morgan Elizabeth Taylor, 21, of Perham.

The two drivers and a passenger in the Jetta, Victor Joseph Huhta, 18, of Menahga, were taken to Perham Health Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two other vehicles, a Toyota 4-Runner and a Jeep Renegade were at the scene of the accident and had sustained damages, but were not included in the initial report by the State Patrol on Friday morning.

The crash was reported at 8:37 a.m. on dry pavement. All three injured were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor.

Assisting the State Patrol were the Perham Police Department, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, the Perham Fire Department and Perham Ambulance Service.
