Sherri Hanson was named to the Board of Directors at Vergas State Bank, according to a social media release Thursday, July 13.

The announcement was made by Lee Dahlgren, Chairman of the Board.

Hanson has been with Vergas State Bank her entire community banking career and currently holds the title of Vice President. She is also an Insurance Agent with the Vergas Insurance Agency, which is located in the Vergas State Bank building.

Community involvement, customer relationships and fair honest banking has been and continues to be her vision for what it means to be a community banker. The Vergas State Bank Board of Directors welcomes her to this position and recognizes that her 40+ years of banking experience will be an asset to the board.

Hanson is replacing deceased owner and board chairman Greg Dahlgren. She joins the current board consisting of Dahlgren, Daren Berube, Brad Helmeke and Pryce Score.
